    Explore the nighttime winter forests of Oregon the way it was traditionally hiked by Native Americans of Bend. Your guide will share the history of trapping on snowshoes and teach you about the local winter forest ecosystems.
    You will explore the areas around Mt. Bachelor and the surrounding Deschutes National Forest of the Cascade Mountain Range of Oregon. Be inspired by the play of light at night on the snowfall, and take in the hushed ambiance of the forest under blankets of snow.
    The tour guide will teach you how to properly navigate off-trail snowshoeing with helpful techniques and tricks. You’ll be able to experience first-hand the natural quietness of the hibernation season as your guide points out rare animal snow tracks and you learn about the fauna of the area.
